WOMAN'S BEST FRIEND Lisa Armstrong shares emotional post after ex Ant McPartlin reveals he’s expecting first child with wife Anne-Marie

Lisa Armstrong has shared an emotional post after discovering that her ex-wife Anne-Marie is expecting their first child.

The Sun exclusively revealed how Britain's Got Talent host Ant, 48, told his TV friends the exciting news while filming the new series of the ITV show.

Ant has been married to Anne-Marie Corbett since 2021, with whom they have been together for almost six years.

The couple are expecting their baby in June and are "overjoyed" with the news.

Hours after the baby news was revealed, Ant's ex-wife Lisa, 47, took to Instagram to pay tribute to the beloved dog, Hurley, who she still shares with Ant.

Hurley is a chocolate Labrador and both Ant and Lisa adore her, who share joint care of the dog.

In her post, Lisa shared a drawing that read: "Thank you for being my dog, someone to spend life with, and most of all, thank you for being my best friend."

The Strictly Come Dancing makeup artist shared three prayer emojis above the drawing.

Ant and Lisa married in 2006 after dating for several years, before announcing their divorce in January 2018.

The former couple had no children, while Anne-Marie has two children from a previous marriage.

Anne-Marie is understood to have had a five-month scan, with a source revealing: "This is the news everyone wanted. Ant and Anne-Marie are very happy.

“It's no secret that Ant has always wanted to have children, but sadly it was never going to happen for him, which he accepted.

“When they found out last year, they were absolutely ecstatic, but obviously kept the news quiet as long as possible.

“Having a baby two years shy of your 50th birthday, with the love of your life, is the stuff of dreams for Ant.

"He is already a wonderful, kind father to Anne-Marie's children, and together they are going to be wonderful parents to this newest addition to the family."

Ant's best friend and TV co-host Declan Donnelly has two children with his wife Ali; Daughter Isla, five years old, and son Jack, one year old.
