CAR PARK HORROR Young girl ‘raped’ in Morrisons car park as four boys aged 12 to 14 arrested

Four boys aged between 12 and 14 have been arrested after a young girl was allegedly raped in a Morrisons car park.

Police attended the supermarket in Rochdale at 6pm yesterday.

Officers investigating the alleged rape have cordoned off the area around the Morrison branch.

Greater Manchester Police said: “At approximately 6pm on Saturday 10 February 2024, officers were called to reports of a rape in Newbold, Rochdale.

“Four boys, aged 12, 13, 14, 14, have been arrested on suspicion of rape and remain in police custody.

“The victim is currently being assisted by specialist officers.

“A scene remains in place as officers continue their investigation.

“If you or someone you know has been raped or sexually assaulted, we encourage you not to suffer in silence.

“Report it to the police, or a support agency so you can get the help and support available.”

Officials confirmed that the victim is a "girl child".
