Gaza Strip is now "one of the most dangerous places in the world," UNRWA says

 

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees said on Wednesday the situation in Gaza is "getting worse every minute" with a new wave of refugees displaced to the south due to Israeli bombardment.

"There is no 'safe' zone, the entire #GazaPatti has become one of the most dangerous places in the world. There is nowhere to go, with shelters, including @UNRWA, overflowing," the UN body said on Twitter. " As Twitter.

Humanitarian organization Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) called for an immediate end to the "indiscriminate and sustained attacks" on Gaza.

"Forced displacement must stop now. Attacks on hospitals and medical staff must stop now. Aid restrictions and sieges must stop now," he wrote on social media platform X.
